Noureen DeWulf, born on February 28, 1984, in New York City. She always showed a great degree of curiosity about becoming a professional actress. The School of the Arts of Boston University was where she started to build the foundations for the remainder of her professional acting. After graduating, Noureen began auditioning for roles in various films. In 2005, she was offered a prominent role in the film West Bank Story. West Bank Story had its premier at the Sundance Film Festival of 2005 as well as being played at other festivals. The film won in 2007 when it received an Oscar for Best Live Action Short Film. As a young child she appeared in numerous films during the 90s such as The Things I Want For Christmas (1991), Patriot Games (1992), Hocus Pocus ( 1993), Now and Then( 1995) and Alaska( 1997). She became more famous in 1999 when her performance in American Beauty gained worldwide recognition. After Ghost World, which was highly acclaimed in 2001 and earned her a Golden Globe Award nomination, she then appeared in American Beauty.
