Abbie Cornish was an Australian actress. Born on 7 August 1982. Cornish was well-known for her role in movies including Heidi, Fanny Brawne and Sweet Pea (in Sucker Punch), Lindy and RoboCop (2011) as well as Sarah and Geostorm (2017). For the latter Cornish won her first Screen Actors Guild Award as part of the cast. She landed a guest spot in the network's Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001-2011) as well as following the same up with roles on Ghost Town (2008) and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Gilpin was able to land a variety of TV part-time roles in subsequent years. However, her big break came in 2013, when she was asked to play a regular on Nurse Jackie. Gilpin portrayed the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin in 34 episodes, before Nurse Jackie's series ended June 2015. That same year Gilpin was in the mystery thriller True Story (2015).
