Anne Phung Nguyen

Hello, my name is Anne Phung Nguyen and I am a Vietnamese American entrepreneur residing in gorgeous Orange County California with my amazing fianc JP and my happy-go-lucky Dad Henry. My Instagram account, @annephung, is where the majority of my followers are. I post about my day-to-day life, both positive and negative. It was 1990 that my family relocated to America. When I was of one and a quarter, I joined my parents. Being aware of the possibility at a better future I aimed to be their proudest and had a clear vision in the direction of achievement. My mind knew what the plan was to live my life. Attend college, and graduate. Be married. Purchase a home. Have kids. My goal was to attend college, graduate and get a corporate job. After that, I'd marry, buy a house and have kids. But life had different plans. In 2013, my job as a corporate employee was something I dreaded. Status and money were not what I needed to feel happy. I believed that I was wasting away my life to earn a paycheck. My love of fitness and my desire to socialize with people helped me pursue a new career as an instructor. The year 2014 was the year I began my small business and this 2021 will see me celebrating my 7th anniversary. It's not common to see an Asian woman in this business. My goal is to become a catalyst within the business to offer the best coaching and guidance to help others to become a healthier and happier them by creating a sustainable lifestyle cater to the individual needs and desires. Furthermore, I try in empowering others to achieve the goals they have set for themselves and achieve anything they want to achieve. As my professional career took flight and I was advancing, my mom passed away. It was the hardest of everything. Her eight-year battle with Scleroderma has ended and she is now in Heaven. She will forever be in my heart and mind. It's amazing how the world gives us exactly the lesson we need, even when we do not realize that it is there. The death of my mother affected me greatly and I think she was the one who gave me another chance to live my life. It was the Tet/Lunar New Year Day when she passed away. It was her time to begin her new life as I was given my second shot at an enjoyable and satisfying life. In my 30's, I feel more alive than ever. I can truly say that I live now and not just surviving like I was previously. The purpose of the story I am sharing is to show you that, you are not the only one. I hope that you believe that love is real and that therapy is normal. Health is your greatest asset. Only one life is yours. I hope you enjoy it to the max.
